Greg Biffle – Biffle got into the wall late in practice. The #16 team started to roll out the back up car but they decided they would fix their primary chassis. Early in practice Biffle said that his car was loose and it was lacking grip. His car like many others gets faster over the course of a run.

Sam Hornish Jr. – Hornish got into the wall early in practice and his team will be using a backup car this week. The chassis they will be using is brand new. Hornish said that it didn’t feel comfortable and wasn’t stable.
Jeff Burton – Burton got into the wall in practice and his team will be using a backup car this week. They hardly had any time on the track in their backup car.
Dave Blaney – Blaney also got up into the wall in practice. This team elected to fix their car.
