Kyle Busch started in the back.
Kurt Busch started in the back after a practice wreck.
Menard finished 2nd the day before in the Nationwide Series.
Kansas Race Notes
On lap #1 Danica Patrick wrecked and totaled her car. Other drivers collected were David Reutimann and Cole Whitt. Kyle Busch spun to avoid contact.
Kyle Busch pitted the following lap and was penalized for having too many men over the wall. That wasn’t much of a penalty because he was already in the back anyways.
On lap 15 Stenhouse Jr. was back to 11th. He started in 2nd.
Kurt Busch was in 21st on lap 22.

Clint Bowyer seemed off early in the race. On lap 31 he was in 26th.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. passed Keselowski for 3rd on lap 34
Keselowski did an unexpected pit stop under green around lap 39 because he thought he had a flat. He was running in the top five at the time. A caution came out shortly after that and he took the wave around.
Running order on lap 41: 29,48,88,22,20,27,42
Martin Truex Jr. got caught speeding on pit road under the yellow around lap 42. It sent him from 15th to the back.
Kurt Busch went high into the turn on lap 49 and lost a lot of track position.
