Aric Almirola – Showed good speed and was a tick off the top competitors on the speed chart. Mid-way through practice he said his car was handling the best it did all weekend. He just needed a little more grip.

Paul Menard – “It feels more consistent just tight all the way through the corner”

Kevin Harvick – Showed good speed over his opening run. “I feel like it was better in the center but I’m still too loose all the way through the corner.” Later in practice he said his car was terrible. “Take some more tape off of it. The oil is too hot.”

Matt Kenseth – Showed good speed over his opening long run. Wants his car to turn better.
