The race was originally set to be run on Saturday night but due to rain it was run around mid-day on Sunday.
The race was shortened due to rain and only 112 of the 160 laps were completed.
The pit window was 38 to 44 laps.
Bobby Labonte drove the #33.
In the race the low-line with fresh tires was the quickest lane. After about 20 laps the top lane transitioned into the fastest lane.
David Gilliland led the first four laps until Matt Kenseth passed him on lap 5 using the middle to upper groove.
The caution flag came out for rain on lap 7.

Under the early rain caution the field was called to pit road where the cars stood still for probably half an hour.
Tony Stewart passed Matt Kenseth for the lead on lap 17.

On lap 21 a massive accident at the front of the field took out many of the favorites including : Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Trevor Bayne, Marcos Ambrose and Brad Keselowski (lost his front valance).
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was the second car in the outside lane when the “big one” ensued. Stenhouse Jr. said his car was really fast.

Greg Biffle looked strong and took the lead from Jamie McMurray on lap 52.
Clint Bowyer ran near the back of the field for nearly the entire first half of the race.
Kurt Busch ran strong leading the high-line just before the midpoint.
