Jamie McMurray – Between practice sessions he said he has a good car and it’s better than his Daytona 500 car.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – In a single file run 3 minutes into practice he went to the top of the speed chart. His lap time was 192.204 MPH. He said he had a bad vibration that made his vision blurry. Later in practice he said there was a little “bloop” when he was in first gear trying to get up to 9000 RPM. Towards the end of practice he said the vibration was still there.
