Kevin Harvick started on the pole and choose the outside lane. He dominated early and led laps 1 through 147.

Jimmie Johnson’s car was really good in the center of the corner.
On lap 45 Kevin Harvick lapped Aric Almirola.
On lap 46 Kevin Harvick lapped AJ Allmendinger. Over Allmendinger’s radio he said, “We’re in serious trouble here”.

Kevin Harvick’s car was really good in the middle of the corner.
Brad Keselowski’s car was really good on exit.
The first caution came out on lap 62 for debris. Paul Menard got the free pass during this caution.
During the first round of pit stops Johnson lost six positions and fell from 4th to 10th.
Kyle Larson was in 17th on lap 73. He started the race in 7th.
On lap 76 the second caution came out. AJ Allmendinger got the free pass at the time.

Kurt Busch said his car was good but tight on lap 144. At that time he was running in 11th.
Kasey Kahne said his car was OK on lap 144.
Notable Moment: On lap 147 Kevin Harvick reported that he thought something was broken with his suspension. At this time his car wasn’t nearly as good as it was earlier.
Brad Keselowski took the lead on lap 148 and led the next 25 laps.
On lap 172 the caution came out when JJ Yeley hit the wall.
Prior to the caution Kasey Kahne short pitted and as a result of the caution it cemented him down 2 laps.
