Michigan Quicken Loans 400 NASCAR Practice #1 Notes
NOTE: Due to inclement weather and the threat of no qualifying nearly everyone focused on qualifying trim exclusively in practice #1 for the Michigan Quicken Loans 400.
Kurt Busch – Got into the wall hard with about 30 minute remaining. As a result he’ll be going to a backup car. He was using his Auto Club chassis. His new chassis has been a backup for 10 races but hasn’t been used in 2015. Early in the session he said he was a little tight but otherwise it drove great.
Martin Truex Jr. – Using a brand new chassis. Following a run with 30 minutes remaining he was happy with his car.
