Kentucky Quaker State 400 NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes
Jimmie Johnson – Brushed the wall early. He got back out on the track about 20 minutes later. During his second run he had his hands full and was loose all around. Later in practice he said his car improved.
Kyle Larson – Has good balance and started the session with a 13 lap run. He was happy with his car and practiced running the high-line. His car was loose all around the track.

Jeb Burton – Said his car needed to turnĀ better.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – His car was plowing tight. He didn’t seem happy with how it handled.
David Gilliland – Tight in the center. Later he said his car needed more front grip.
