Dale Earnhardt Jr. – It’s reported that his team made solid changes between practice sessions. 15 minutes into practice his crew chief said, “That’s a really good lap right there.” After completing his second run he said, “A little bit loose early…a little bit tight center.” Near the end he said his car was much too tight. At the very end he said, “I liked it, really. I thought it was pretty good. We just cycled too tight, … but it’s way better.”

Carl Edwards – Really liked his car. It’s been turning better than his primary car. His team fine tuned his car during the session.

Aric Almirola – His car was tight in the middle of the turns. He reported that he lost a little bit of speed today.
