Denny Hamlin – Had good speed. Ended the session with the fastest overall lap. With about 10 minutes remaining his spotter said, “I think we’re top 3 or 4 for sure, but Matt seems really good.”

Danica Patrick – Got into the wall in the middle of the corner. Didn’t get any damage. Her car was loose.

Kyle Busch – Said his car feels good. Seems happy with his car. Very fast.
