Dale Earnhardt Jr. – After starting with a 9 lap run he said he was a little snug in the center. 30 minutes into practice he told his team they improved their car but he still needs a little more front grip and to be freer in the center. With 15 minutes remaining he said, “I think we’re really, really good.” The longer he ran the more comfortable he got with his car.

Ryan Newman – Early in practice he reported his car was better today. His car was a little tight in the center. 30 minutes into practice being tight in the center was still an issue.

Austin Dillon – Reported he’s tight on exit. Told his team his car is at a good starting point. Towards the end of practice he said, “Much better guys”

Chase Elliott – 15 minutes into practice he said, “I’m pretty happy with that to be honest.” With 20 minutes remaining he said, “It was a little tight in the corner there.”
