Pure Michigan 400 Fantasy NASCAR Mid Pack Predictions
Greg Biffle – When Roush Fenway Racing was good Greg Biffle thrived at Michigan. In their equipment he’s been to victory lane four times and has finished in the top ten 56% percent of the time. Recently times have been tough and he hasn’t run well. Over the last five Michigan races he has a 21.6 average finish, 21.2 average running position and the 23rd best driver rating. This spring he was simply a high-teens performer. He started 18th, had a 17th place average running position and finished 19th. Also in the race it should be noted he earned the 16th best driver rating. Last August when the high-down force package was used he never ran well and finished 23rd. In spring 2015 he wasn’t even close to being competitive. He started 21st, had a 34th place average running position, finished 36th and earned the 36th best driver rating. His result isn’t skewed and he was really that bad. This season in incident free races at high-speed intermediate tracks Greg Biffle has a 16.0 average finish. (Yahoo B Driver)

AJ Allmendinger – Over the last four Michigan races Allmendinger has finished worse each event. This spring he finished 38th so this trend is likely poised to end. In June Allmendinger finished 38th after being involved in an early accident on lap 62. At that time he was running around 20th and it marked the end of his race. Last year he finished in the twenties both races and came home with results of 23rd and 28th. In fall 2014 he had his best recent result and finished 13th. In the three MIS races prior to that he had results of 19th, 19th and 22nd. This year at high-speed intermediate tracks AJ Allmendinger has finished well on occasion but if I were to circle him in for a finish I would write him in for a result around 20th. (Yahoo B Driver)
