Yahoo C List Fantasy NASCAR Preview – Kansas
Chase Elliott – Chase Elliott could easily get his first career win at Kansas on Sunday. In recent races at high-speed intermediate tracks he’s been extremely competitive. I view Chicagoland and Michigan as the two most similar tracks to Kansas and at both of those venues he had to car to beat. Also in both of those races he earned the best driver rating. I expect his strong performances from those events to carry over. This spring at Kansas Chase Elliott was mid-teens good performance wise but rallied to a 9th place finish.

Ryan Blaney – Ryan Blaney shouldn’t be overlooked at Kansas where he has back to back top tens. Between the combined events he has a 6.0 average finish, 8.5 average running position and the 8th best driver rating. This spring he had a strong showing and was a consistent front runner. In the race he finished 5th, had a 7th place average running position and earned the 6th best driver rating. In fall 2015 in a pre-rookie year start, he also had a strong showing. In that race he finished 7th, had a 10th place average running position and earned the 9th best driver rating. Michigan and Chicagoland are similar tracks and in both events he finished 4th.
