Big Moment: On lap 52 while around 20th Newman got into the wall hard and pancaked his right side. This led to his last place finish. He melted a bead in his tire.

During the first round of pit stops Kyle Busch took two tires. Everyone else took four.

Notable Moment: During the first round of pit stops Denny Hamlin’s pit crew had an uncontrolled tire. This dropped him from the top five back to about the mid-twenties.

Kevin Harvick had a great car. On lap 99 he radioed his team and said his car was so much better after some adjustments. On lap 101 he was up to 2nd.

Big Moment: On lap 106 Paul Menard got into the wall hard. He said something broke (melted a tire bead). This led to his 38th place finish.

Notable Moment: On lap 132 Casey Mears was slow on the track and came to pit road. He had some sort of electrical issue.

Notable Moment: Around lap 138 Landon Cassill made an unexpected pit stop. He was running in the high-twenties at the time and it dropped him to the low-thirties.

Carl Edwards really liked his car. He was leading on lap 163 and said everything was good.

Big Moment: On lap 163 Ricky Stenhouse Jr. blew a tire and got into the wall hard. He was running around 21st at the time.
