Michigan NASCAR Practice #1 Notes
Drivers parked for the first 15 minutes: Harvick, Hamlin and Jones
Trevor Bayne – He’s on “baby watch” this weekend and Ryan Reed did a little bit of practice in his car (3 laps). Reed said the #6 car felt great.
Brad Keselowski – Focused on getting a good baseline setup for race trim early because of possible weather tomorrow. Appeared to have a good car in race trim. There’s a chance Keselowski might have a substitute crew chief this weekend because crew chief Paul Wolfe is on “baby watch”.
Landon Cassill – Wrecked at the end of practice and will be going to backup car. While he was 29th on the speed chart 35 minutes into practice he said he gets loose as the run goes on.
