Chase Elliott – Had good long run speed. Early in practice he had the best 15 lap average. His team was said to be very happy with their car. Didn’t like an adjustment to his car near the end.
Kyle Busch – Has a fast car and had the best 10 lap average.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Between sessions he tweeted, “Feels great to have some comfort and speed.” 45 minutes into practice his crew chief said, “Those end lap times were pretty good. Those .60s at the end, I liked.” At the end he said he thinks he has good long run speed. He thought his left front splitter prevented him from posting a really fast lap.
