This spring at Charlotte Aric Almirola missed the race due to injury and in his place Regan Smith finished 22nd. Last fall in his most recent race he finished 15th. Last spring he didn’t run well. In the race he finished 26th, had a 25th place average running position and earned the 23rd best driver rating. In fall 2015 Amirola had his strongest showing at Charlotte. He finished 10th, earned the 10th best driver rating, had a 12th place average running position and ran 82% percent of the laps inside the top fifteen. Trevor Bayne – At Charlotte Trevor Bayne will likely be a high-teens to low-twenties driver. Performance wise that’s really how he stacks up against the competition on a weekly basis. At Charlotte Bayne has a 22.1 average finish and minus his first race all of his results are between 16th and 27th. This spring he had his best race ever at Charlotte and finished 16th. It should be noted he was involved in a wreck that did some damage to his nose but he was able to keep on going. At the time of that incident he was running in the high-teens. Last year he had results of 18th and 25th. Chicagoland is a similar track and a few weeks ago at that venue he finished 22nd. (Yahoo B Driver)
