Fantasy NASCAR Low Tier – Homestead
Danica Patrick – Homestead may very well be Patrick’s last race so let’s hope she goes out on a high-note. On Sunday I would look for her to be a high-teens to low-twenties driver as long as she has an incident free race. In her two incident free races in the Playoffs at 1.5 mile tracks she’s had results of 17th (Texas) and 18th (Chicagoland). At Homestead Patrick has been consistent and has a 20.3 average finish. All of her results are between 18th and 24th. Last year she finished 19th and had a 24th place average running position. In 2015 she was a low twenties driver. In the race she finished 24th, had a 23rd place average running position and earned the 22nd best driver rating. In 2014 she had her best Homestead result and finished 18th. (Yahoo B Driver)
Michael McDowell – Homestead will be Micheal McDowell’s final race in the #95. He’s run well in this race so hopefully his final race will go good. Last year at Homestead McDowell had a solid race and finished 10th. Attrition helped him but he was legitimately mid-teens good. Additionally it should be noted he earned the 14th best driver rating and had a 19th place average running position. On Sunday I would look for McDowell to likely be a high-teens to low-twenties driver. (Yahoo C Driver)

David Ragan – There’s really no upside with David Ragan. He’ll likely be around a mid-twenties to high-twenties driver if he has an incident free race. In the Playoffs he’s had a tough time at these tracks. He finished 17th at Kansas, but in the other three races he’s finished 29th or worse. At Homestead in the last five race he’s finished between 27th and 31st. Last year he finished 29th. (Yahoo C Driver)
Landon Cassill – In the Playoffs at 1.5 mile tracks Landon Cassill has a 23.5 average finish and has had a result between 20th and 26th every race. On Sunday I think it’s likely he’ll have another finish around that range. At Homestead, Cassill has a miserable track record. Last year he finished 21st, all six of his other results are 27th or worse. (Yahoo C Driver)
