Martinsville NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Got into the wall hard and will be going to a backup car. He’ll start in the rear of the field. Said his car was good after about 15 laps.

Chase Elliott – Really felt like he found his rhythm in the first session. Following his first run in final practice he was happy with the balance of his car. Said he’s excited about tomorrow. Said he feels good about where he’s at.

Aric Almirola – Felt good about his car. Feels like he has a top ten car. Looking for a little extra.

Martin Truex Jr. – Very fast again. Said his car is OK over long runs. Said he has good speed. Trying some new things this weekend for the fall race.

Denny Hamlin – Was slightly off in practice #1. In this practice Denny Hamlin wasn’t happy with his car. Said he lost a ton of forward drive.
