Bristol NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes
General Practice Note – Late in practice Jeff Gordon said he thought the high-line was starting to come in.
Kyle Larson – He was frustrated with his car in practice #2. Didn’t appear to have that great of a car. Scrapped the wall late.
Chase Elliott – Got slightly into the wall early in practice. His team repaired the damage. He returned to the track about 15 minutes later. Following a run 25 minutes into practice he said his car was a little on the tight side.
Alex Bowman – His car was described as “Bad loose” early in Happy Hour. His opening run put him 17th and following it he said, “Nothing to lean on with the right rear right there. I’m a little free in and then loose center off.” 20 minutes into practice he said, “It’s definitely better. Still free though.” His car seemed to be better late in practice.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – 30 minutes into practice while he was 25th he reported he had a vibration. Not that happy with his car.
Kurt Busch – Jeff Gordon said he wasn’t “seeing any magic” out of his car this practice session. His car is loose everywhere.
