William Byron who won the pole selected to start in the outside lane. He led the opening 22 laps.
Ryan Blaney had a tough start and lost 10 positions in just the first two laps.

Big Moment: On lap 29, Austin Dillon got into the wall hard. He was running in 13th at the time. This marked the end of his race (Finished 37th). He had contact with Paul Menard.

Notable Moment: Around lap 38 it was mentioned that Ty Dillon had contact with the wall. He had some visible damage but he was able to stay out on the track.
