Fantasy NASCAR Tool – Yahoo Race Result Charts
[tweetmeme source= "ifantasyrace"]
One of my favorite fantasy NASCAR tools of all time is the Yahoo race result charts. I’m not a fantasy racer who just looks at the finishing order and believes NASCAR drivers finished where they belong.
What I really like about these charts is that they show where a particular driver ran during the course of the race. With these charts you can compare up to three different drivers so if your uncertain about who you want to use on a given weekend, this tool will help you. Numbers can lie, but these charts don’t.
These charts are especially useful in situations such as what happened last year at the Coca Cola 600. David Reutimann won the race because of the rain, but was his car any good? With this tool you can easily check out where Reutimann ran over the course of the race. Here’s Reutimann’s chart from last years race.
This tool can also be useful in other situations where a driver has a really good car but doesn’t finish well. One recent example would be to check out where Jimmie Johnson ran at Dover. People who just look at numbers and have a short memory might say, he finished 16th last time so I know I’m not going to pick him. With these charts you can easily see that he wasn’t a sixteenth place car.
At ifantasyrace.com I have direct charts to every race COT race ever held. Just check out my Track Fantasy Prep Page.
How to find this tool on Yahoo.com
- In the Yahoo.com NASCAR page click on the Schedule & Results tab on the top of the page
- Then you click on the Full Results button on the right side of whatever race you would like to see a graph of.
- Now you click on the Chart link on the right side of the driver who you wish to see a chart of.
- Now that you have a chart you can easily select two other drivers and check out where they ran over the course of the race.
