Robby Gordon Placed On NASCAR Probation For The Remainder Of The Year
BREAKING NEWS!!! Robby Gordon is placed on probation for the remainder of the year. There’s lots of speculation swirling around what happened at Las Vegas but no definitive answers. NASCAR didn’t see it (Did they see the Jeff Gordon – Jeff Burton Texas fight?). They wouldn’t even know about it if Kevin Conway didn’t report it. Kevin Conway even reported it to the local police.
My understanding of the story is that Kevin Conway (The Extenze default 2010 rookie of the year) was loafing around the garage area and he confronted Robby Gordon about the cash he earned by being the 2010 rookie of the year. The amount is something like $30,000. Robby Gordon then said he’ll give it to him once Extenze gives him the $700,000 they owe Robby Gordon Motor Sports. Extenze is a big sponsor but currently there’s two lawsuits against them based on them not paying out sponsorship dollars.
Then during the confrontation Robby Gordon supposedly grabbed Conway by the shirt, said some means words and threw him to the ground. Gordon was penalized for violating Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing).
