If Kyle Busch got fired where would he go?

One place where he definitely wouldn’t be welcome is Richard Childress Racing. If he worked there it would be considered a hostile work environment. Something tells me that after the Kansas Richard Childress incident he wouldn’t be accepted with open arms (maybe a fist?). He did provide inspiration to Kevin Harvick in the Truck Series race at Homestead. Harvick reminded himself when things got hairy “Don’t be a Kyle Busch, don’t be a Kyle Busch”.

There’s no open seats at Hendrick Motor Sports and once Rick Hendrick lets someone go their not coming back. Kyle Busch is also now perceived as a sponsor liability so this alone would make the move tough.

Before Kyle Busch raced at Hendrick Motor Sports he was first a Roush driver. Jack Roush was not happy about spending money devloping Kyle Busch only for him to jump ship to Hendrick Motor Sports at the first possible moment. I think Roush has had his fair share of Busch’s and the bridge was burned when he suspended Kurt Busch for his last two Roush races.

Stewart-Hass Racing could be a potential landing spot. I think Stewart could pull him in line more then Joe Gibbs could. These two speak the same language and have aggressive driving styles. Tony Stewart has done anger management classes in the past and perhaps he could give Kyle Busch his flash cards.

The most likely place where I think Kyle Busch would land if he were fired would be Michael Waltrip Racing. I think Toyota would want to preserve the face of their brand and would do anything to keep him in one of their cars.
