Michigan Quicken Loans 400: Fantasy NASCAR “Front Runner” Rankings
Kevin Harvick – Harvick won at Michigan in August 2010. What stands out about his win is that it’s his only top ten finish at MIS in the last six races. His typical result at Michigan is a low double digit figure. In his twenty-two races here he’s finished between 10th and 20th on eleven occasions. Harvick is flying somewhat below the radar this season on high speed intermediate tracks. His worst finish on high speed intermediate tracks this year is 11th, and his average finish is 7.6. In March at Michigan’s sister track (Auto Club) Harvick finished 4th. (Yahoo! A Driver)

Kasey Kahne – The last time the series visited a high-speed intermediate track Kasey Kahne emerged victorious. The key to his win was his ability to run the high line around Charlotte Motor Speedway. With the Michigan repave I’m not quite sure if it will come into play. I think the low line will remain the fast line all weekend. Kahne has a so-so track history at MIS. He’s a former winner (2006) and last August he finished 7th. The downside about him at the Irish Hills of Michigan is that since 2007 he’s only finished in the top ten three times. I predict Kahne will finish in the top ten but with the possibility of no high line I don’t see him winning. (Yahoo! B Driver)
