Daytona Coke Zero 400: Fantasy NASCAR “Top Tier Elite” Picks
Dale Earnhardt Jr. – I think Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be considered a favorite by many experts to win the Coke Zero 400. In this years Daytona 500 Earnhardt Jr. finished 2nd to Matt Kenseth. If he got any help from Greg Biffle then he probably could’ve won the “Great American Race”. In twenty-five Daytona races Junior has two wins and 9 top five finishes. I think the factor that will push him towards being many people’s fantasy pick is his consistency on the track this season and his recent win at Michigan. At Talladega this year Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished 9th. (Yahoo! B Driver)

Kevin Harvick – In the last five Daytona races Harvick has one win and has finished 7th three times. His only finish lower was due to an engine failure in last season’s Daytona 500. I think he’s a great default pick here and the return of the draft will play into his hands, remember that’s how he won both of his Daytona races including the 2010 Coke Zero 400. Harvick had a good car in this years Daytona 500. He hung out at the back of the pack for the first 75% percent of the race but when it was time to go he made his move. In the last 40 laps he never ran lower than 8th. When they were racing to the checkers he was the first car in line running the high groove (finished 7th). (Yahoo! A Driver)
