New Hampshire Lenox Industrial Tools 301: Fantasy NASCAR “Top Tier Elite” Picks
Tony Stewart – Last fall in the Sylvania 300 Tony Stewart went the distance on gas and emerged victorious. With a few laps remaining Clint Bowyer was leading but ran out of gas. This opened the door for Stewart to get the win. In the 2010 fall race Tony Stewart was leading late but ran out of gas and Clint Bowyer went to victory lane. Essentially the scripts were flipped in the 2010 and 2011 New Hampshire Chase races. Tony Stewart has three wins at New Hampshire and has finished in the top five in 54% of his races. In the July race last year Stewart finished second and teammate Ryan Newman won. Stewart has led laps in the last nine New Hampshire races. Look for Tony Stewart to be the top expert pick this week to win the Lenox Industrial Tools 301. (Yahoo! A Driver)

Jimmie Johnson – Jimmie Johnson has had a tough time in the last two September New Hampshire races (finished 18th and 25th). If you take away those two poor performances he’s finished 9th or better in every race here since 2007. Johnson is a three-time winner at Loudon with his last being in July 2010. Last July Johnson finished 5th and led 19 laps. Jimmie will be a tough driver to beat in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301. He’s been very good on similar tracks this season. He’s had a car that was capable of winning at all three tracks that people say are similar. His average finish at those venues is 7.3 (third best). (Yahoo! A Driver)
