New Hampshire Lenox Industrial Tools 301: Fantasy NASCAR “Mid Pack” Projections
Brian Vickers – Mark Martin will not be racing at New Hampshire and as a result Brian Vickers will be piloting the #55 MWR car. So far in 2012 Vickers has finished in the top five in two of his three races. Last fall Vickers had his best race at New Hampshire. He started 3rd, led 4 laps and finished 5th. I find it hard to believe he’ll get another good finish but somehow he’s gotten the job done this season. His New Hampshire average finish is 21.6 and his average starting position is 19.9. (Yahoo! Joey Logano – In 2009 Joey Logano won at New Hampshire. You can definitely put an asterisk next to his victory. His win came courtesy of the rain. The only reason why he was in position for the victory was because he wrecked earlier in the race. His accident put him in position to stay out on the track longer than everyone else. Logano has had some good races at New Hampshire though. Last July he finished 4th and in September he finished 14th. I think a teens finish would be an accurate projection for him in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301. (Yahoo! B Driver)
