Bristol IRWIN Tools Night Race Happy Hour Practice Notes
Carl Edwards – His car was described as junk and wasn’t much better now after all the changes done in the first practice. The team was struggling in race trim. The splitter was hitting the track.

Martin Truex Jr. – Their car was OK, it was better than it was in the first practice.
Denny Hamlin – The #11 was said to be to tight in the center. They weren’t completely happy.

Kyle Busch – The #18 team focused on qualifying runs in happy hour. Their car was very good.
Danica Patrick – Danica couldn’t attack the throttle on the GoDaddy car. She has more to learn here.
Kevin Harvick – Harvick said the car was shoving the nose in the corners.
Ryan Newman – Newman had a ceased up upper A arm. They had a hard time figuring out their the car. They made lots of changes.
Brad Keselowski – Keselowski developed his own race line around the track. He ran the bottom in turns 1 & 2 and he ran at the top of turns 3 & 4. In turns 3 & 4 he was running higher than anyone.
Kasey Kahne – Kahne was very happy with his car. It was said that his car keeps getting better and better.
Tony Stewart – Stewart said his car rolls good through turns 1 & 2.
Jimmie Johnson – Jimmie Johnson was in qualifying trim through the whole practice.
Joey Logano – Logano said his car was hard to drive. It had no grip and it was said to be in a four-wheel slide. They weren’t good in race trim.
