Jimmie Johnson – Felt something in the front end and saw smoke early. Also the left rear was rubbing again. The tire rub situation was fixed. Johnson had a similar tire rub in practice #1.

Kasey Kahne – Kasey Kahne’s left rear had a tire rub just like Johnson’s.

Joey Logano – Logano is still sick and did not participate.
