Richmond Federated Auto Parts 400: Fantasy NASCAR “Mid Pack” Projections
Greg Biffle – In the mid 2000′s Biffle was a good pick at Richmond, but he’s not anymore. Since 2007 he has zero top tens and a 19.6 average finish. Also in this time span he’s only led 6 laps and has a 20.6 average running position. If you’re in a allocation league I would avoid Biffle without hesitation. There’s absolutely no reason to pick him here. He earned every bit of his 18th place finish in April. He had a 20th place average running position and ran just .3% percent of the laps in the top fifteen. (Yahoo! B Driver)

Sam Hornish Jr. – Short tracks that fall into the Richmond, New Hampshire and Phoenix mold present good opportunities for Hornish. He has two top tens at Richmond, two at New Hampshire and one at Phoenix. Hornish has improved as a driver since his last stint in the series so I think he has sleeper potential to get a top ten finish. In the Nationwide series this year on the respective tracks he’s finished 5th (Richmond), 6th (Phoenix), and 4th (New Hampshire). (Yahoo! C Driver)
