What to expect / Areas of concern:

Clint Bowyer has been the best driver at Talladega recently. He’s won the last two fall races and has five consecutive top tens. One attribute you have to love about Clint Bowyer is his consistency. Since the second Talladega race of 2007 he’s only finished lower than 12th once. Another aspect about his consistency that needs to be noted is that in eight out of the last nine races this season he’s finished in the top ten. Yesterday in practice Bowyer said that his car is a little slower in the draft then he likes but they can’t be feeling to bad about it because he sat out Happy Hour.

Brad Keselowski

What to expect / Areas of concern:

Keselowski is a calculated driver who isn’t lacking for confidence on this big 2.66 mile track. He’s smart and he knows when to make his move. In May Keselwoski pulled off the impossible and won here while leading through the final set of turns. Being the driver tucked behind the leader was the preferred position but he had a vision on how to separate himself. Keselowski has a very good track record here. He’s a two-time winner who has only finished outside the top ten twice.Yesterday in practice Keselowski was happy with his car and he ran a lot of laps. Brad has done a good job avoiding trouble on the track lately. Since Kentucky he’s only finished outside the top ten once.
