Carl Edwards – Edwards said the track has a ton of grip and his car is really fast. On Sunday he thinks it will be hard to pass. Former crew chief Bob Osborne is back at the track this weekend working with the #99 team.

Ryan Newman – Newman said his car is good and track position in the Hollywood Casino 400 will be a premium.

Tony Stewart – Tony Stewart was in race trim for much of the practice. He wasn’t completely satisfied with his car and it’s balance.

Paul Menard – The left trailing arm was dragging on the track and kicking up sparks. They were in qualifying trim for the entire practice. They were almost wide open on the gas.
