Jimmie Johnson – Johnson was in qualifying trim today. His car was very loose and the track was very slick. Johnson will be driving the car he raced at Kansas. This car was rebuilt.

Brad Keselowski – Keselowski is running his “best car” and it is said that they’ll be going for it on Sunday. In practice today they ran a lot of laps in race trim. They were fine tuning the #2. Keselowski was one of only three drivers who ran 10 laps consecutively.

Kyle Busch – Busch has a fast car this week and ran a lot of laps up in the high line.

Clint Bowyer – The #15 team is still be mad about last week. Their car was loose all over the track.

Denny Hamlin – The further up Denny Hamlin went on the banking the tighter his car got. Some have speculated this track is picking up Darlington characteristics and Denny Hamlin is always good there.
