Michigan Quicken Loans 400 Practice #2 Notes

Jeff Gordon – His lap times were consistently in the 196 MPH range early. The team is focusing on turn #3. In his second run his lap times were around the 198 MPH range.

Aric Almirola – Tight.

Kurt Busch – Was fast early in practice but only completed two laps in his first run. In his second run he was also quick but completed few laps. This team could very well be scuffing tires.

Martin Truex Jr. – Said his car feels good but he needs more front grip. Later he said he liked his car but their just missing a little something.

Kevin Harvick – Gets loose when he gets to close to the back of other cars. In his second run he said his car needs to tighten up. Towards the end of practice he was tight on entry and into the center of turns.
