Loudon Camping World RV Sales 301 Yahoo! C List Fantasy Preview
AJ Allmendinger – AJ Allmendinger should be the clear pick for fantasy racers on Yahoo’s C list. In the Camping World RV Sales 301 he’ll be driving the #51 car once again. Allmendinger missed both races at the Magic Mile last year but in three of the next four most recent races he’s finished between 10th and 12th. This season on tracks that are deemed similar he’s finished 11th and 14th.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has never raced at New Hampshire in a Sprint Cup car. In the Nationwide Series he’s had some success here. In his last two starts in the lower series he’s recorded finishes of 5th and 4th. This season at the two similar tracks he’s finished 16th twice. In the Camping World RV Sales 301 I expect Stenhouse Jr. to finish between the mid teens and mid twenties.
Casey Mears – Since 2010 Mears has had really poor finishes at Loudon. In the races since then he has a 36.5 average finish. The main reason why it’s so low is because I believe he started and parked almost every race. Only once over those six races did he complete +100 laps. I think there’s a zero percent chance he won’t compete the full event on Sunday. Not once this season has he started and parked. At Phoenix earlier this season he finished 14th.
Danica Patrick – Danica Patrick has never raced at New Hampshire in a Sprint Cup car. Because of that the best way to gauge her fantasy value is to look at how she’s performed at similar tracks. Both Richmond and Phoenix have been struggles for her. New Hampshire has even less banking then the two of them and as a result I think it will be even more difficult for her. Last year in the Nationwide series she finished 14th.
David Ragan – Last season at New Hampshire David Ragan had finishes of 29th and 34th. I expect a similar finish in the New Hampshire Camping World RV Sales 301. Ragan has never really had success at the Magic Mile. In his last race here with Roush Fenway Racing he finished 7th but beyond that his next best finish is 14th. Richmond is the most similar track on the schedule and earlier this season he started in 20th and finished 20th.
