Paul Menard – Ran well early

Matt Kenseth – Started in 12th and cracked the top 5 in the first twenty laps. He was strong in the center of the turns.

Kurt Busch – Had a fast car and was committed to running the bottom line.

Danica Patrick – Got lapped on lap #44

David Gilliland – Performed well and was in 13th on lap #50

Casey Mears – Performed well early

Brad Keselowski – Was slow in the corners (early) and his car was tight.

Jeff Burton – Got hard into the wall on lap #54. He was running in the low double digits at the time.

Marcos Ambrose – Sustained damage in the Jeff Burton wreck.

Carl Edwards – Got sandwiched between Jeff Burton and Marcos Ambrose in their multi car collision.
