Atlanta Advocare 500 Practice #1 Notes
Martin Truex Jr. – Focused on qualifying trim exclusively to limit practice time and help him heal. His car was tight early. He feels good but said shifting hurts a little bit.
Clint Bowyer – Using a setup similar to Martin Truex Jr.’s. Was in race trim for much of the practice.
Brad Keselowski – Using a brand new chassis and tested here. He said he recently tested at Richmond, Chicagoland and New Hampshire. Converted to race trim after his first run.
David Gillilalnd – Tight from the center to landing in the turns.
David Ragan – Tight in the center but has good forward drive. Participated in the tire test.
