Denny Hamlin – Lost an engine. Will have to start in the rear of the field.

Clint Bowyer – Tight after 5 laps. About half way through practice he said, “Just turns left” and is to loose. Thinks the bottom groove looks good. In the closing minutes of practice he was 4th on the top speed chart but he wasn’t happy with his car.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – “Its not very good. It’s really loose off. It’s real tight in both ends.” About mid way through practice changes were made and he said his car was closer to where it needed to be. Said it’s hard to get to the bottom of the track.

David Ragan – Loose on entry and exit.

David Gilliland – Really tight.
