On lap #18 Dale Earnhardt Jr. was up to 22nd. His car drove good in traffic.

Martin Truex Jr. started in 16th and on lap #26 he was in 23rd. His tires were chattering and his car was plowing.

Brad Keselowski was up to 3rd on lap #38

Aric Almirola got a pit penalty during the first round of pit stops.  NASCAR later rescinded that penalty but it cost him a ton of track position and he was running well at the time.
