New Hampshire Sylvania 300 NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes
Jimmie Johnson – Very quick at the start of practice and his car looked good on the track. Chad Knaus said he was running consistent lap times.
Kevin Harvick – Tight in the center at both ends of the track. He was happier with his car following his second run. Later he said with about 20 minutes remaining he was tight on exit. He ran the most laps in Happy Hour
David Gilliland – Loose, wanted a prior adjustment taken out. Later in practice his car started off good in a run but it got tighter as he ran.
Jeff Burton – Good in the middle, tight on exit.
Ryan Newman – Looks like he’s struggling a little bit in Happy Hour. “Got me too tight in the center. Really struggling to answer the stopwatch.”
