Martin Truex Jr. – Started practice in race trim and was at the top of the charts early.

Jeff Gordon – Didn’t like his car early and said it was to bouncy early in practice. Says he has work to do. Scuffed tires. Went to qualifying trim with about 50 minutes remaining. Said there’s no grip.
