Race Notes:

Jimmie Johnson got underneath Denny Hamlin for the lead on lap #3. Johnson’s car was good in the turns and on drive off.

Jeff Burton spun on lap 7. He was in 20th at the time. Carl Edwards got into the turn too fast and got into Burton. Edwards had no damage.

Denny Hamlin was in 5th at lap 20.

Joey Logano’s car could hang tough early in the race on the outside lane.

Kyle Busch passed Johnson for the lead on lap 25. Matt Kenseth also got ahead of Johnson at the same time.

Running order on lap 29: 18,20,48,11,24,42,15,22,2,56 … 29,9,88,34,41,39,78,1,14,5 … 99,27,16,32,40,38,55,36,31,51

Matt Kenseth passed Kyle Busch for the lead on lap 36. Johnson followed on through and Kyle Busch moved back to 3rd.

Jimmie Johnson described his car as having steady speed.

Jeff Gordon used the same chassis he used in the spring. His car was stout over long runs and he moved in on the leaders.

Kyle Larson was down a lap by lap 70.

Kyle Busch’s car was set up to be good late in the race after the mid point.

Running order on lap 76: 20,48,24,18,11,42,15,22,29,2 … 88,56,5,9,39,41,1,99,16,14 … 34,78,31,40,27,38,55,32,83,36

Around lap 80 Jeff Gordon’s car was running about half a lane higher then some of the other leaders.

Travis Kvapil spun on lap 88.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s car was at it’s best over long runs.

Denny Hamlin faded out of the top ten around lap 109.

Johnson passed Kenseth for the lead on lap 110.

David Ragan’s car was pushed behind the wall with his hood up around lap 112.

Kyle Busch had some issues with his car and was very tight on lap 129. Couldn’t keep his car on the bottom of the track. Was in 6th.
