Race Notes
Jimmie Johnson started on the pole and led the first 33 laps.
On lap #1 in turn #1 Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Juan Pablo Montoya and Matt Kenseth were involved in an accident. Stenhouse Jr. got the heaviest damage. Montoya’s damage was minimal. Matt Kenseth’s damage was relatively light. They were all driving around 20th at the time. Stenhouse Jr. was the only driver who went to the garage for repairs.
Denny Hamlin thought he had some sort of problem 12 laps into the race. Said his car was popping out of gear under caution.
Jamie McMurray pitted on lap 12 under green because of debris on his front grill.
Denny Hamlin got into the wall all on his own on lap 15. He then went to the garage for repairs.

Brad Keselowski liked his race car and said it was solid.
Kevin Harvick’s car was loose in turn #2 on lap 27.
Brad Keselowski took the lead on lap 34 after Jimmie Johnson pitted under green.
Martin Truex Jr. was struggling in the race on lap 34.
Carl Edwards did a pass through penalty for speeding on pit road on lap 44.
Matt Kenseth did a pass through penalty for speeding on pit road on lap 48.
Running order on lap 49 right after everyone did a green flag pit stop… 48,2,78,5,18,22,24,27,15,29 … 39,14,88,43,55,16
Jeff Gordon started in 22nd and was up to 6th on lap 51.
David Gilliland hit the wall on lap 54. It caused him to have a slight fire.
Kyle Busch said his car doesn’t have the turn it needs over a long run.
Tony Stewart got caught speeding on pit road on lap 55.
Jimmie Johnson was in 14th on lap 58 following the Gilliland caution due to others pit strategy. His car didn’t drive as well back in traffic.
