Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Has a vibrating transmission. Towards the end of practice he said his car “pushes like hell”. Said he couldn’t get a whole corner or a whole lap right. His vibration didn’t go away and his team changed his transmission.

Greg Biffle – Car had great balance but was lacking speed in race trim (comment about his car on Friday).
Denny Hamlin – Pretty good balance and handling. Working on finding speed. Focused on making short runs.
Kevin Harvick – Was fast over long runs. Later he said adjustments helped for a few laps but he got tighter over a long run.
Paul Menard – Said his front end is working better but he needs more front grip. Said his car was better after adjustments made at the mid-point.
