Pocono 400 Race Notes
Brad Keselowski jumped to the lead in turn #1 and went on to lead the first 56 laps. Jeff Gordon was up to 2nd on the first lap.
Jimmie Johnson started in 20th and he was only up to 19th five laps into the race.

Denny Hamlin’s car was tight early. Said his team was behind the Hendrick cars horsepower wise.
Tony Stewart had a good car that worked up through the field early.

Kyle Busch’s car was only good for about 20 laps in a run but then it didn’t work to his liking in the corners.

Around lap 36 Matt Kenseth ran into the back of Jamie McMurray. It caused serious damage to the nose of his car. He was running around 19th at the time. It caused him to drop back in the running order. Jamie McMurray got some damage to the back of his car.

Kenseth’s car was very slow 47 laps into the race.

Brad Keselowski’s car was really good on exit of turns. (pit cycle around lap 60)
Jeff Gordon said his car was good but was a little loose in traffic. (pit cycle around lap 60)
Marcos Ambrose had a tight car and his team couldn’t improve his condition. Had a slow pit stop around lap 60.
Tony Stewart said his car was very good (pit cycle around lap 60).
The caution came out on lap 60 during the pit cycle.
Hamlin was hurt by that caution because he didn’t pit. Dropped him from 6th to 13th.
