Kurt Busch – In practice #2 he said he was happy with his balance and speed. Focused on fine tuning his car. In Happy Hour he said his car picked up tightness everywhere.
Tony Stewart – Said he was tight in and loose off in practice #2. In Happy Hour he worked on getting his car to turn better in the corner and get into the gas sooner. “The front does not feel like it’s working as good as the last time we were here.” With 15 minutes left he said his car was too free and more out of balance than it had been.

Denny Hamlin – Changed many components of his car between practices.
Kyle Larson – Worked on getting a little more speed. About half way through practice he reported his car was tight on throttle. Said his team made good progress but they still weren’t great. Thinks he can lead laps and maybe have a shot at the win. Thought he had OK average times.
