Yahoo C List Fantasy NASCAR Preview – Bristol IRWIN Tools Night Race
Kyle Larson – This rookie phenom can’t be overlooked at Bristol in the IRWIN Tools Night Race. Among Yahoo C List drivers he’s the best default option, but picking him all comes down to where you stand allocation wise. Earlier this season he had a great car. He started in 20th, had a 7th place average running position and finished 10th. His car was very fast and he ran the high-line with the best of them. Last spring in the Nationwide Series he finished 2nd after racing door to door with Kyle Busch coming to the checkered flag. Busch’s margin of victory over him was only .023 seconds. Also in that race he ran the 4th most fast laps and had a 7th place average running position. Last August in the lower series he started 5th, finished 5th, had a 5th place average running position and led 40 laps.
Austin Dillon – Austin Dillon has one intangible you have to like at Bristol. He’s does a good job avoiding trouble on the track. That’s what won him his Nationwide Series championship despite being winless. This spring at Thunder Valley he had one of his best finishes of the season. When the checkered flag waved he finished 11th. Some of his other stats from the race are a little underwhelming. He started in 26th, had a 22nd place average running position, earned the 23rd best driver rating and only ran 10.7% percent of the laps in the top fifteen. Last year in the lower series he had results of 3rd and 11th. In 2012 in the Nationwide Series he had results of 4th and 12th. If Dillon can avoid problems in the Bristol IRWIN Tools Night Race he could earn another good result.

Justin Allgaier – Justin Allgaier ran his first race at Bristol in March. It was a race of survival and since he avoided trouble he fared well by his standards. He started in 30th, had a 21st place average running position and finished 17th. Also in the race he earned the 26th best driver rating and ran in the top fifteen in 5% percent of the laps completed. If he can keep his nose clean again he could walk away with another good result at “The Last Great Coliseum”. In the Nationwide Series Allgaier has 10 races under his belt. In spring 2010 he went to victory lane. His Bristol Nationwide Series average finish is 14.5.
Danica Patrick – There’s one trend that stands out about Danica Patrick at Bristol. Her result has improved every time she’s raced here. She had a rough Bristol race in March but because the attrition rate was so high she managed to finish 18th. Her race was far from impressive. Perhaps the standout moment of the race for her was when she ran into the back of Clint Bowyer while he was parked on pit road. In the race Patrick started in 36th, had a 24th place average running position, earned the 28th best driver rating and ran 0.0% percent of the laps in the top fifteen. Last August she finished 26th but was far from competitive. In that race she finished 7 laps down, had a 31st place average running position and earned the 34th best driver rating. In the 2013 spring race she was also very uncompetitive and finished 5 laps down. In her first Bristol race she had her best performance. In that event with 66 laps to go she was running in 19th but was spun and wrecked by Regan Smith.
