Jeff Gordon moved up from 13th to 9th in the first 11 laps. The strength of his car was being good over long runs.

Denny Hamlin and Paul Menard where lapped by lap 36. Menard then short pitted on lap 37.
Kevin Harvick’s car worked good all over the track.
Jamie McMurray said his car was too free early.
Harvick’s only issue early in the race was being loose on entry.
During Patrick’s first pit stop she said she was free on entry but not bad.
Michael Annett got a speeding penalty around lap 46.
Clint Bowyer spun on lap 47 during the pit cycle and brought out the caution. He didn’t hit anything but it dropped him down two laps to 41st.
After Clint Bowyer spun Brad Keselowski was the only driver on the lead lap. Harvick who was leading got the Lucky Dog and everybody else took the wave around.
Running order on lap 52 under caution from the Bowyer spin: 2,4,22,99,48,24,14,1,41,43 … 88,5,10,16,31,42,55,18
Jeff Gordon’s car really came to life about 10 laps into a run.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. thought he had a loose lug nut on lap 59 and considered pitting.
