Talladega Geico 500 NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes

NOTE: Only 21 drivers participated in Happy Hour for the Talladega Geico 500

Matt Kenseth – Changed his steering box and right side window before this session. Looked fast early and led the draft. Ran a lot of laps and spent time doing single file runs. Nobody ran more laps then him in Happy Hour. Said his car drove OK.

Kevin Harvick – Sat out this practice session. Worked on his door seam.

Jimmie Johnson – Focused on doing single car runs to work on his balance. 30 minutes into practice he said his car drove better. Said he has a lot of speed.

Clint Bowyer – Sat out Happy Hour.
